What it does mess up are cutscenes. The cut scenes are still designed to run at 30fps, so with the mod enabled they'll play at 2x speed. Might be a deal breaker if you're playing it for the first time. I'm stuck at 30 fps on BotW and my rig its only using 50%. No high Temps.

I prefer Yuzu now, because it work pretty stable 30fps and battery life around 2:40. I just found that on top of installing the 60FPS mod, you can set the resolution in Yuzu to 75% with AMD FSR enabled, and get solid 30 FPS everywhere without any noticeable visual degradation. 50% scaling also looks great and you get massive frame rates.On the Steam Deck, you're getting 40fps on Cemu and 30fps on Yuzu. ... So people were better off with BotW on CEMU then and now, you'll soon be able to run TotW on Yuzu too.

Which isn't hard by the way. It runs like a dream and the graphic mods are fantastic. The only meaningful way in which the Switch version of BOTW was better than the Wii U version was when it came to the native resolution that it rendered in. But that's a non issue in emulation since you can run CEMU BOTW at 8K if your GPU can handle it.
